Hello, virtual traveler! I’m Shadiya, a designer on a mission to create meaningful, intuitive experiences in the ever-evolving world of product design.

How it all started..

I grew up between the buzzing energy of Dubai and the quiet landscapes of rural India, where design revealed itself everywhere, from hand-painted shop signs to iconic skylines. It shaped my perspective on the world.

As the world transitioned from paper notebooks and clunky desktops to sleek handheld tech, I became fascinated by how design evolved alongside us.

At 18, that perspective led me to visual communication. Through internships, early projects, and a role at a tech startup, I saw how design can make or break user engagement. That’s when I knew I wanted to go deeper.

That brought me to New York City for graduate studies, a chapter that expanded my thinking and challenged my approach.  Today, design is more than a career, it’s how I think, question, and connect. And there’s still so much more I’m excited to explore.

I hold a Master’s degree in Information Experience Design from Pratt Institute in New York. My expertise focuses on human-centered design, research, and accessibility.

Working with Shadiya on projects was the most exciting part of the process. Being from operations, I always would have an idea and image of how the design should look - I had it all done BUT only in my mind!
